Syringa vulgaris 'Primrose' is commonly referred to as Primrose Common Lilac. It is a beautiful deciduous shrub with fragrant white flowers that mature to creamy yellow. Such a rare color in the world of lilacs and butterflies adore it! Foliage is slightly bluish-green with heart-shaped leaves that are 4-5 inches long.
Primrose Lilac is a strong, long-lived lilac. It thrives in humusy, neutral to alkaline, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Lilacs can be used for privacy screens and borders.
