GOLDMOUND BUMALD SPIREA
Spiraea japonica 'Goldmound' is commonly referred to as Goldmound Spirea. It is a deciduous, compact, mounding shrub that features attractive yellow foliage in spring that turns more orange in fall. Showy pink flowers appear in June and bloom through the summer providing a nice contrast to its colorful foliage. Flowers attract butterflies, bees, and other beneficial pollinators.
Goldmound Spirea is deer resistant and very easy to grow. It thrives in full sun but can adapt to light shade. It enjoys average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Ideal for foundations, borders, and cottage and rock gardens.
