QUEEN ELIZABETH GRANDIFLORA ROSE

Rosa 'Queen Elizabeth' is a beautiful grandiflora type rose that has been around for over half a century and was an original member of the grandiflora class. It features shell pink blooms with a touch of salmon pink when the nights are warm. It has long, tall, upright stems that are nearly thornless. Foliage is glossy dark green, almost leathery to the touch.

Queen Elizabeth Grandiflora rose thrives in full sun in nutrient-rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. Ensure soil is rich, well-draining, and amended with organic matter. Water at the base (avoid getting leaves wet) to prevent fungal diseases. Pruning: Prune in early spring, just as the buds begin to swell (but before leaves emerge). Remove all dead, damaged, or diseased wood, then trim healthy stems back to an outward-facing bud to open up the center of the plant for air circulation.
