DRIFT® CORAL GROUNDCOVER ROSE

Rosa Drift® Coral is a vibrant and exceptionally hardy groundcover rose that brings a bright, energetic pop of color to the landscape. Part of the renowned Drift® series, it is a cross between a full-size shrub rose and a miniature rose, inheriting a tough, resilient nature and a manageable, low-growing habit. It produces an abundance of small, semi-double flowers in a striking shade of iridescent coral-orange with a small yellow eye at the center. These blossoms cover the plant in continuous waves from late spring all the way through the first hard frost, often outlasting many other flowering perennials.

The ideal spot for Rosa Drift® Coral is a sunny location with at least six to eight hours of direct light, which fuels its prolific reblooming cycle. Its compact, mounding, and spreading form makes it a perfect solution for filling in front-of-border gaps, lining walkways, or stabilizing sunny slopes. The foliage is a deep, leathery green and is highly resistant to black spot and powdery mildew, ensuring the plant looks clean and healthy even in humid conditions. It thrives in well-drained soil and, once established, is notably drought-tolerant.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. Ensure soil is well-draining. Water at the base (avoid getting leaves wet) to prevent fungal diseases. Pruning: Prune in early spring. These are 'low-maintenance' roses. You can prune individually to shape, or, for large-scale mass plantings, you can use power shears to trim them back by one-third to encourage a flush of new, vigorous growth and continuous blooms.
