Zone: 6CHIHULY™ FLORIBUNDA ROSE
Rosa 'WEKscemala' PP15,076 Chihuly™ is commonly referred to as Chihuly™ Floribunda Rose. This stunner of a rose was named after the glass artist, Dale Chihuly. I might add: with good reason! Chihuly™ features the most amazing color transformation. As the sun hits the opening petals, it blushes from subtly-striped apricot yellow to dazzling orange and deep red. It produces a remarkable display against the dark green leaves and mahogany-red new growth.
Chihuly™ Floribunda Rose thrives in full sun in nutrient rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It does not tolerate standing water. In winter, mulch heavily around the base of the plant and remove promptly in early spring.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. Ensure soil is rich, well-draining, and amended with organic matter. Water at the base (avoid getting leaves wet) to prevent fungal diseases. Pruning: Prune in early spring, just as the buds begin to swell (but before leaves emerge). Remove all dead, damaged, or diseased wood, then trim healthy stems back to an outward-facing bud to open up the center of the plant for air circulation.
