Zone: 5BRUNS UPRIGHT SERBIAN SPRUCE
Picea omorika 'Bruns' is commonly referred to as Bruns Serbian Spruce. It is a robust, very narrow, upright, evergreen conifer tree that reaches 14 feet tall and 10 feet wide in ten years. It features symmetrical branches with glossy blue-green needles with silvery undersides. Commonly mistaken for the weeping Picea omorika 'Pendula Bruns', but the Bruns Serbian Spruce is the upright variety.
Bruns Serbian Spruce thrives in full sun in deep, rich, evenly moist, well-drained soil. If you are looking for a tight, slender conifer tree that remains narrow over time, this is it!
