Fountain Grass is a warm season ornamental grass that typically grows in clumps with narrow, finely textured, deep green leaves in summer, maturing to golden yellow in fall. Plumes emerge pink or tan then age to reddish-brown.

This variety is a hardy, reliable perennial that will return year after year in our region. It is prized for its graceful, arching foliage and soft, bottlebrush-like plumes that provide significant textural interest from summer into autumn. It performs best with consistent moisture and excellent drainage. Cut the foliage back to the ground in late winter or early spring to encourage fresh growth for the new season.
