Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Amber Glow' is commonly referred to as Amber Glow™ Dawn Redwood. It is a fast growing, deciduous conifer with a dense, pyramidal habit that can easily grow more than three feet in a year. It has bright yellow foliage that can take full sun without burning. Its foliage remains golden with a touch of orange in fall.
Amber Glow Metasequoia is thrives in full sun. It will need a large area to accommodate its large size. It prefers rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
