MALUS ROYAL RED HONEYCRISP
Grower Notes:
Malus domestica 'Royal Red Honeycrisp' is commonly known as Royal Red Honeycrisp Apple. Developed by the University of Minnesota, this superb, hardy apple is similar to its parent, Honeycrisp, but is more uniformly red, sweeter and has better storage capacity. It bears crisp, sweet fruit in early September. Pollination is required - great pollinators for the Royal Red Honeycrisp are Gala, Gold Rush, McIntosh, Fuji, Pink Lady, Red Delicious and Golden Delicious. Pollinators should be placed within 20-30 feet of the apple tree to ensure pollination.
