Cortland Apple is a semi-dwarf, deciduous apple tree. It has fragrant white flowers in mid spring which attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. They are followed by medium sized, greenish-yellow apples blushed with red It has a white flesh that is crisp, slightly tart and deliciously sweet, perfect for eating and baking. It is an excellent, all-purpose apple.

The Cortland Apple is somewhat self-fruitful, but benefits from a pollinator such as Granny Smith or Braeburn. It enjoys full sun and average to moist, acidic, well-drained soils.
