MALUS BRAEBURN
Grower Notes:
Malus domestica 'Braeburn' is commonly referred to as Braeburn Apple Tree. It is a popular semi-dwarf apple cultivar. It features white blossoms which appear in spring and followed by large, red apples with a nice, balanced flavor, that ripen in mid-October. It is self-fruitful, however, it produces a better crop if cross-pollinated with another variety with the same bloom time, such as: Fuji, Granny Smith, Honeycrisp and McIntosh.
Braeburn Apple thrives in full sun in average to moist conditions in deep, loamy, fertile soils. It should not be allowed to dry out. It is ideal for as an accent and for an orchard for edible landscaping.
