AMAZING DAISIES™ DAISY MAY® SHASTA DAISY

Leucanthemum 'Daisy May' (also known as 'Daisy Duke') is a modern, compact, and highly floriferous Shasta Daisy cultivar, highly praised as a reliable and heavy bloomer. It stands out by producing a dense, continuous blanket of 3-inch, pure white, single flowers with a bright golden-yellow center. The strong, upright stems hold the flowers proudly, creating a tidy, mounding habit.

'Daisy May' typically reaching a height of 18-24 inches with a spread of 12–18 inches, making it a perfect fit for the front to middle of a perennial border, in mass plantings, or as a "thriller" in containers. It is early to bloom compared to older varieties, starting its display in late spring/early summer and continuing into the fall, especially if spent flowers are removed. It is hardy in USDA Zones 5–9. It thrives in full sun and requires average, well-drained soil (poor winter drainage is fatal). While it doesn't strictly require deadheading to keep blooming, removing the faded flowers will keep the plant looking tidy and encourage even more new buds. It is also an excellent choice for a cutting garden and attracts butterflies.
