MAGICAL® MIDNIGHT GLOW ST JOHNSWORT

Hypericum 'Kolmiglow' PP26242 is commonly referred to as Magical® Midnight Glow St. Johnswort. This low maintenance, easy to grow, compact shrub is noteworthy for its outstanding contrast between its deep olive green foliage, soft yellow flowers and glossy crimson, cherry-like fruits. Foliage turns dark red in fall.

Magical® Midnight Glow St. Johnswort is rust resistant and will remain showy and fresh through most of the year. Pruning can be done in late winter or early spring because it blooms on new wood (new growth). It thrives in full or part sun in rich, loamy, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Its dense, compact habit makes it ideal for mixed borders or foundation plantings.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Provide partial shade, especially in warmer climates. Fertilize annually with a balanced fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote blooming.
