BLOOMIN EASY® GRIN AND TONIC™ BIGLEAF HYDRANGEA

Hydrangea macrophylla 'Hokomagrito' PPAF is commonly referred to as Grin and Tonic™ Bigleaf Hydrangea. What a fun name for this lively summer beauty. This deciduous flowering shrub has a compact, rounded habit. Its ball-shaped flowers emerge lime green and age to a bright white. It reblooms throughout the season. Foliage is dark green and provides a nice backdrop for the contrasting green and white reblooming flowers.

Grin and Tonic™ Bigleaf Hydrangea thrives in dappled sun - morning sun and afternoon shade is perfect. It enjoys rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soil. So sit back, relax, and drink up this refreshing beauty.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining, rich soil protected from the hot afternoon sun. For pink and blue Hydrangea macrophylla varieties, bloom color is pH-dependent; keep soil slightly acidic for blue tones or adjust toward neutral for pink. White varieties remain stable regardless of pH. Water consistently to maintain soil moisture, as this variety is sensitive to drying out. Mulch around the base to keep roots cool and moist.
