LETS DANCE® BLUE JANGLES® BIGLEAF

Hydrangea macrophylla 'SMHMTAU' PP27035 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Lets Dance® Blue Jangles® is commonly referred to as Let's Dance® Blue Jangles® Hydrangea. This Proven Winners® Color Choice® selection is a new color for the Let's Dance® series. Blue Jangles® will dance into your heart with its rich blue or pink mophead flowers on sturdy stems. It is perfect for containers and blooms on both old and new wood. Flower color is dependent on soil pH.

Let's Dance® Blue Jangles® Hydrangea thrives in part sun and part shade in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. This selection reblooms on the current year's growth as well as new growth (both new and old wood). Therefore, it is beneficial to prune immediately after flowering to control size and growth.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining, rich soil protected from the hot afternoon sun. For pink and blue Hydrangea macrophylla varieties, bloom color is pH-dependent; keep soil slightly acidic for blue tones or adjust toward neutral for pink. White varieties remain stable regardless of pH. Water consistently to maintain soil moisture, as this variety is sensitive to drying out. Mulch around the base to keep roots cool and moist.
