CHRYSOGONUM VIR AUSTRAL
Grower Notes:

Chrysogonum virginianum var. 'Australe' is commonly referred to as Golden Star. This semi-evergreen groundcover perennial is native to woodland areas from Pennsylvania to Florida and Louisiana. It is easy to grow and features star-shaped, daisy-like, yellow flowers in spring and sporadically through summer. Ovate, toothed, glossy green leaves grow to 3" long and are deer resistant.

Golden Star thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is a care-free Midwest native perennial and makes a wonderful addition to the woodland garden.
