ELLWOODS PILLAR LAWSON FALSECYPRESS

Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Flolar' is commonly referred to as Ellwoods Pillar Lawson Cypress. This popular, slow-growing evergreen tree or tall shrub has a narrow pillar shape that makes it perfect for formal spots in the landscape or in containers to draw your eye with its symmetry. It has blue-green foliage which is resistant to verticillium wilt.

Ellwoods Pillar Lawson Cypress thrives in full or dappled shade in fertile, acidic, moist, but well-drained soil.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Water it regularly, but avoid overwatering. Provide a slightly acidic soil pH, around 6.0. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune it annually to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
