PINK ANGEL WINGS
Caladium Pink (Fancy Leaf) brings a soft, romantic, and undeniably tropical elegance to the shade garden. This classic selection is highly prized for its oversized, heart-shaped leaves that showcase varying shades of rose, blush, and candy-pink. The translucent pink centers are often highlighted by dramatic dark green margins and intricate, contrasting veins, making each leaf look like a work of art. Growing from warm-weather tubers, the foliage rises on long, graceful stems to form a lush, upright clump that stands 14 to 20 inches tall and spreads 12 to 18 inches wide.
These tropical beauties are at their absolute best when planted in partial shade to full shade. Because Caladium Pink's pigmented centers of the leaves are thin and delicate, they require protection from harsh, direct afternoon sun to prevent the foliage from bleaching or scorching. In landscape design, they are a premier choice for illuminating dark corners, creating soft texturing in mass plantings under high-canopy trees, or serving as an elegant "thriller" or focal point in premium shade containers and patio urns.
Pink Caladiums thrive in rich, loose, highly porous, and well-drained soil, preferring consistent, even moisture without sitting in soggy, waterlogged ground.
