It features full size purple flowers on thick, strong stems with a compact, sturdy habit. It blooms from summer through frost without needing to deadhead and brings in all the pollinators including butterflies and hummingbirds.
Pugster Periwinkle® Butterfly Bush is deer and rabbit resistant and thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soil. It can be drought tolerance once established. It is ideal for flower gardens and perennial beds.
