DECADENCE® PINK LEMONADE FALSE INDIGO
Decadence® Deluxe 'Pink Lemonade' Baptisia PP30,669 is commonly referred to as Decadence® Deluxe Pink Lemonade False Indigo. It is a Proven Winners® selection and part of the Decadence® series of Baptisia which exhibit vivid and unique colors with a shorter, more compact habit. Pink Lemonade features bicolor, soft yellow, pea-shaped blooms that age to pink and mauve-lavender in early summer. Both colors appear at the same time producing a beautiful two-tone effect. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators to the garden. Green foliage has an upright, vase-shaped, and densely branched habit which remains neat throughout the season. Seed pods form and turn a charcoal-black in fall providing additional interest later in the season.
Pink Lemonade Baptisia is easy to grow and deer and rabbit resistant. It will thrive in full sun in average, well-drained soils. This long-lived perennial is ideal for borders and cottage gardens.
