GIRARD FASHION EVERGREEN AZALEA
Azalea x 'Girard Fashion' is commonly referred to as Girard Fashion Azalea. It is part of the Girard collection of Azaleas that were developed for their incredible cold hardiness and improved performance. It is a semi-evergreen shrub which features medium size fiery orange-red flowers encased with glossy dark green foliage in mid to late spring. Foliage turns a handsome burgundy color in winter.
Girard Fashion Azalea thrives in full to partial sun in rich, acidic, humusy, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for foundation plantings, as a hedge or along the border.
