YOUNIQUE™ RUBY RED FALSE SPIREA

Astilbe Younique™ 'Ruby Red' PP23143 is commonly referred to as Younique™ Ruby Red Astilbe or Ruby Red False Spirea. This early season, very compact variety has upright ruby-red plumes over glossy green foliage. Fragrant flower plumes attract butterflies and hummingbirds and make terrific cut flowers. It is part of the Younique™ series of Astilbe that are known for its very floriferous blooms, producing more flowers than foliage.

Younique™ Ruby Red Astilbe thrives in partial shade in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Companion plants for Astilbe include: Rhododendron, Hosta, Ferns, Heuchera, Ligularia and Japanese and Siberian Iris.
