Aronia melanocarpa 'UNCONNAM012' PP31821, CPBRAF is commonly referred to as Aronia Ground Hug®. It is a dwarf selection of black chokeberry that has a densely branched growth habit, making it an ideal groundcover. The glossy foliage stays bright green from spring through summer and turns a bright red and orange in fall. In spring, clusters of white flowers are followed by dark blue fruit which attracts wildlife. It is often sold under both Ground Hog or Ground Hug PP31821.

This easy to grow groundcover enjoys full to part sun in evenly moist, well-drained soils. For best fruit production, plant in full sun.
