Amsonia tabernaemontana 'Storm Cloud' is commonly referred to as Storm Cloud Blue Star or Willow Blue Star 'Storm Cloud'. This Proven Winners® selection is a clump-forming perennial that features emerging stems that appear black in showy contrast to its dark olive, willow-shaped leaves. Soft blue, star-shaped flowers appear in late spring or early summer and bloom and rebloom for many weeks.
Storm Cloud Blue Star is easy to grow and requires little care. It thrives in full to partial sun in loamy, moist, well-drained soils.
