TYLER BLUE BALSAM FIR

Abies balsamea 'Tyler Blue' is commonly known as Tyler Blue Balsam Fir. It features a compact, pyramidal habit with distinctive steel-blue needles. Ornamental bright purple cones point to the sky in spring.

The Tyler Blue Balsam Fir enjoys full to part sun in average, well-drained soils. Part shade brings out its maximum blue color!

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant it in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water it regularly, but avoid overwatering. Prune it annually to maintain shape and promote healthy growth. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
