Abies alba 'Green Spiral' is commonly referred to as Green Spiral European Silver Fir. It is a narrow, pyramidal evergreen with a strong cascading habit. it is noteworthy for its twisted branches that grow in a spiral pattern outward and then down. Dark green needles on top with white underneath give this tree a showy silvery appearance. The glossy needles remain dark green throughout winter. This selection produces cones that measure 4-6" long and are held upright and confined to the upper branches.
