VALIANT™ ORCHID MYRTLE
Vinca Valiant™ Orchid is a standout cultivar in the Valiant™ series, specifically engineered to provide exceptional garden performance even under stressful environmental conditions. It produces large, eye-catching flowers in a sophisticated shade of deep orchid-pink, often centered with a subtle, darker eye. The foliage is notably thick, leathery, and dark green, providing a sturdy and lush backdrop that highlights the cool-toned blossoms. Because this series is bred for high vigor and resistance to common soil-borne issues, it maintains a neat, mounded habit and continues to produce fresh blooms well after other annuals have begun to fade in the summer heat.
The ideal spot for Vinca Valiant™ Orchid is a sunny location that offers maximum light exposure and superior soil drainage. It is a perfect choice for high-visibility landscape beds, mass plantings, or large ornamental containers where its robust growth can be fully displayed. Like others in its series, it is incredibly heat-tolerant and thrives when temperatures rise, requiring minimal supplemental water once it has established a strong root system. This low-maintenance annual provides a reliable burst of orchid color from the time the soil warms in late spring until the arrival of the first autumn frost.
