Sedum 'Vera Jameson' is a classic and sophisticated hybrid stonecrop that bridges the gap between low-growing groundcovers and upright varieties. 'Vera Jameson' is prized for its arching, mahogany-purple stems and succulent, rounded leaves that emerge in a cool waxy blue-green before deepening into a rich, smoky purple-bronze as the season progresses. Reaching a modest height of 12 to 15 inches with a graceful, spreading habit, it forms a colorful mound that provides excellent texture and deep tones to the sunny garden from spring through frost.
In late summer and early autumn, 'Vera Jameson' is topped with flattened clusters of star-shaped, dusty-pink flowers.
