WEEPING WHITE PINE

Pinus strobus 'Pendula' is commonly referred to as the Weeping White Pine or the Weeping Eastern White Pine. It is a beautiful, very graceful conifer with a narrow to wide weeping habit in which the leader bends over to sweep the ground. Form is variable depending upon pruning and training.

The Weeping White Pine thrives in full sun in fertile, well-drained soils. This unique, living sculpture makes an ideal focal point in any garden.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize annually with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
