WEEPING NORWAY SPRUCE

Picea abies 'Pendula' is commonly referred to as the Weeping Norway Spruce. This irregularly shaped cultivar has a unique weeping habit. It generally does not grow upward, so it will grow as tall as staked or can be grown prostrate, along the ground.

The Weeping Norway Spruce enjoys full sun in rich, slightly acidic, evenly moist, well-drained soils.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with full sun to partial shade. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Fertilize in the spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
