EMILY MCKENZIE MONTBRETIA
Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora 'Emily Mckenzie' is commonly referred to as Emily Mckenzie Montbretia. It is a late bloomer with clumps of erect, sword-shaped leaves and sprays of star-like vivid orange flowers with dark red throats. It flowers from midsummer through early fall.
Mckenzie Montbretia thrives in full to partial sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is tolerant of summer heat and humidity and can be drought tolerant when established.
