JIM CROCKETT FALSE ASTER

Boltonia asteroides var. latisquama 'Masbolimket' PP16678 is commonly referred to as Jim Crockett False Aster or Thousand Flower Aster. If you are looking for a shorter aster, look no further! This native, shorter variety produces abundant lavender, daisy-like blooms with yellow centers in late summer and early fall. Pointy leaves emerge light green in spring, then grayish-green finally fading to yellow in fall.

Jim Crocket False Aster attracts bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators to the garden and thrives in full sun and average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. This low maintenance perennial is ideal for accent or mass plantings and does well in cut flower arrangements.
