LOW SCAPE MOUND® CHOKEBERRY

Aronia melanocarpa Low Scape Mound® is commonly referred to as Low Scape Mound Aronia. It is a tidy little mound of glossy green foliage. It blooms on last year's growth with hundreds of dainty white flowers in spring followed by dark purple fruit in summer. Foliage displays a brilliant red color in autumn. Part of the LOW SCAPE® Series. A Proven Winners® selection.

Low Scape Mound Aronia enjoys full to part sun in evenly moist, well-drained soils.

The fruits of Aronia melanocarpa varieties (Aronia berries) have been found to be very beneficial to human health, including anti-diabetic, anti-infective, anti-obesity, and antioxidant activities, as well as for your heart and liver function.
