BECKY SHASTA DAISY -
36-42 Inches Tall 24-30 Inches Wide--
Leucanthemum 'Becky' is more commonly known as Becky Shasta Daisy. It is a robust and classic Shasta Daisy cultivar, highly regarded as the 2003 Perennial Plant of the Year for its exceptional performance, sturdiness, and heat tolerance across a wide range of climates (USDA Zones 5–9). It is notably taller and more vigorous than many other daisies, growing 36-42 inches high on strong, rigid stems that rarely require staking, making it an excellent background plant for perennial borders and a favorite for long-lasting, fresh-cut flower arrangements. From mid-summer through early fall, 'Becky' is covered in large, brilliant white, single flowers, each measuring 3–4 inches wide, surrounding a prominent golden-yellow center.
Becky Shasta Daisy is low-maintenance and thrives in full sun in average, well-drained soil; adequate winter drainage is essential for its longevity. To encourage its extended bloom time, simple deadheading (removing spent blooms) throughout the season is recommended, which also helps prevent unwanted self-seeding. With a mature spread of 36-42 inches, 'Becky' forms handsome clumps of glossy, deep green foliage that are resistant to deer and rabbits, providing a dependable and cheerful display that also attracts beneficial pollinators like butterflies and bees.
Leucanthemum x superbum 'Becky' PPAF
Light Requirements: Full Sun
Color Attribute: white flower
US Hardiness Zone: 5
