Iris germanica 'Mariposa Autumn' ('Mariposa Autumn' Bearded Iris) is a stunning and vigorous Tall Bearded Iris known for its dramatically colored blooms and highly desirable reblooming ability. It exhibits a plicata pattern, which means the color is stitched or edged onto a lighter background. The flowers feature rich, rosy-violet standards (the upright petals) and sparkling white falls (the drooping petals) that are boldly outlined in the same deep rosy-violet. The overall effect is a striking contrast, often complimented by a white or white-tipped beard.
