Taxus x media 'H. M. Eddie' is commonly known as H.M. Eddie Yew. It is an excellent alternative to Emerald Green Arborvitae for shady areas in the garden. Same columnar growth habit as the Emerald Green, but more shade tolerant. It features bright green new growth that matures to dark green.
H.M. Eddie Yew does not produce toxic fruit and thrives in partial shade in evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is easy to prune and ideal for narrow shady areas.
