It is a unique, upright, teardrop-shaped, conifer evergreen shrub with finely textured, thread-like, chartreuse-green foliage with showy bright yellow new growth. Colder months warms the foliage to a orange-bronze hue. Its rough, red bark adds to its winter interest.
