YUKI SNOWFLAKE® DEUTZIA -

18-24 Inches Tall 18-24 Inches Wide--

Deutzia 'NCDX1' PP25916 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Yuki Snowflake® is a high-performance groundcover shrub that redefines spring elegance with its incredibly profuse floral display. It creates a low, spreading carpet of "snowfall," completely obscuring its foliage with hundreds of crisp, bell-shaped white flowers in mid-to-late spring. Because it blooms on old wood, the arching branches become heavy with blossoms, creating a graceful, cascading effect. Its compact, mounded habit makes it a superior, non-invasive alternative to traditional spring-blooming covers, and its unique ability to root where branches touch the soil makes it an excellent candidate for stabilizing slopes or filling in large garden gaps with a seamless, "naturalized" look.

While its spring performance is the headliner, Yuki Snowflake® offers a sophisticated seasonal transition rarely seen in other Deutzias. Throughout the summer, its clean, dark green leaves provide a neat, weed-suppressing mat that remains attractive even in heat. As temperatures drop in fall, its foliage shifts into a deep, rich burgundy-red, extending the plant's interest long after the flowers have faded. To ensure the most spectacular bloom and the most intense fall color, it should be planted in full sun, though it is highly adaptable to part-shade conditions.
