Weigela florida 'FLORACLAR' is commonly known as Bubbly Wine™ Weigela. This Proven Winners® selection may be on the small side, but boy is it loaded with color - bright yellow and green variegated foliage and pretty pink spring flowers on burgundy stems in late spring bring in all the bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Its form is more compact and mounded and even when the flowers fade, its colorful variegation looks stunning in the landscape.
Bubbly Wine™ Weigela is deer resistant and thrives in full to partial sun in evenly moist, well-drained soils. If pruning is necessary, spring is a good time. Removing any dead or damaged growth can be done at any time.
