Albizia julibrissin 'E H Wilson' is commonly known as EH Wilson Mimosa Tree (Silk Tree). This showy deciduous specimen features fast growth and an open, umbrella-like flat-topped canopy. It has attractive bright pink and white fringed flowers from July into September, branching out at ground level, growing wider than tall. Flowers attract bees and butterflies and are quite fragrant.
E H Wilson Mimosa is deer resistant and more cold hardy than other varieties. It thrives in full sun to partial shade in loamy, sandy, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
