Delosperma Delmara™ Fuchsia, a standout member of the Ice Plant family, is a vigorous and succulent groundcover designed for maximum color impact in sunny, dry locations. It is celebrated for its exceptionally large, daisy-like blooms that feature a brilliant, glowing fuchsia-pink color with a clean white eye at the center. Unlike older varieties that only bloom for a short window, the Delmara™ series is bred for a heavy initial flush in late spring followed by consistent reblooming throughout the heat of the summer. The foliage consists of fleshy, needle-like green leaves that form a tight, low-growing mat only 3 to 6 inches tall.
Delmara™ Fuchsia is an ideal "water-wise" solution, thriving in full sun and requiring sharply drained soil to prevent root rot. It is perfectly suited for rock gardens, sandy slopes, or as a trailing accent in mixed containers and hanging baskets.
