Allium 'Bobblehead' is a whimsical, "supersized" ornamental onion that brings a playful, architectural element to the midsummer garden. A robust upgrade to popular varieties like 'Serendipity,' it produces massive, 3 to 3.5 inch globe-like flower heads in a soft, pale lilac. They float on sturdy stems that reach up to 32 inches tall, hovering above a dense clump of attractive, glaucous blue-green foliage. Each leaf has a unique, gentle twist, adding texture even when the plant isn't in bloom.
