THATS ALL FOLKS BEARDED IRIS -
36-42 Inches Tall 12-18 Inches Wide--
Iris germanica 'That's All Folks' is more commonly known as That's All Folks Bearded Iris. It is a cheerful and highly celebrated Iris, distinguished by its brilliant, flamboyant coloration. An award-winner, including the prestigious American Dykes Medal (2013), this iris features enormous, heavily ruffled and laced flowers that create a stunning, sunny statement in the mid to late spring garden. The flower is a beautiful blend of yellow and white: the upright standards are a brilliant golden yellow, contrasting with the falls, which are predominantly white with heavy golden-yellow blending and borders. It stands tall on sturdy stems, generally reaching a height of 36 to 40 inches (3 to 4 feet), and features attractive gray-green, sword-like foliage that adds texture to the perennial border long after the bloom period is over.
'That's All Folks' is low-maintenance, hardy in USDA Zones 3-9, and resistant to deer and rabbits. For best results, plant the rhizomes in a location that receives full sun (at least 6 hours daily) and boasts excellent soil drainage—soggy conditions are the leading cause of rot. The key to successful cultivation is to plant the rhizome shallowly, leaving the top half of the structure exposed to sunlight to "bake."
