MONTROSE SPIRE WHITE SPRUCE -
20 Feet Tall 6 Feet Wide--
Picea glauca 'Montrose Spire' is more commonly called Montrose Spire White Spruce. It is a cold-hardy evergreen conifer prized for its exceptionally narrow, columnar growth habit. Reaching a mature height of 20-25 feet with a slim spread of only 6 feet, it serves as an excellent vertical accent or privacy screen in landscapes with limited space. Its dense foliage consists of short, stiff blue green needles and provides year-round texture and color.
Montrose Spire Spruce thrives in full sun and enjoys well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Once established, it can be drought-tolerant and cold-hardy to Zone 3.
