Thuja occidentalis 'Art Boe' PP22174 Proven Winners® Color Choice® North Pole® is commonly referred to North Pole® Arborvitae. It is a cross between Thuja occ. 'Wintergreen' and an unknown male parent. It is a fast growing, strongly pyramidal evergreen with a very narrow habit. It is narrower than the Emerald Green Arborvitae. It features dark green foliage with good color retention during the winter months and resists winter burn.
North Pole® is hardy and easy to care for. It thrives in full to partial sun in rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Pruning is not usually needed, but it may be shaped in summer if needed. This elegant selection is ideal as a specimen planting or for borders, privacy screen or windbreaks.
