Cornus Kousa 'Greensleeves' is commonly referred to as Greensleeves Kousa Dogwood. This small deciduous tree is an all-around beautiful tree no matter the season. In late spring, white bracts open with green highlights. They gradually change to all white. Blooms give way in late summer to edible, deep pink, strawberry-like fruit which persist into fall. Birds love them so they may not stick around long! In fall, foliage turns a showy red and purple.
Greensleeves Kousa Dogwood thrives in full sun to partial shade in organically rich, acidic to neutral, well-drained soils. It is ideal as a specimen plant or in shrub borders and naturalized areas.
