Taxus x media 'Hatfieldii' is more commonly called Hatfield Yew. It is a male hybrid cross between the English Yew (Taxus baccata) and the Japanese Yew (Taxus cuspidata). It features a broad pyramidal habit that grows approximately 10 feet tall with a 6-foot spread and can be easily pruned to suit your needs. It has glossy dark green foliage throughout the year and this male variety does not produce berries.

Hatfield Yew thrives in full sun to part shade. It enjoys evenly moist, well-drained soils. It does not tolerate wet conditions. Ideal for shrub borders or as a privacy screen or hedge.
