SYRINGA VUL WEDGEWOOD BLUE
Grower Notes:

Syringa vulgaris 'Wedgewood Blue' is commonly referred to as Wedgewood Blue Lilac. It is a compact, upright, deciduous shrub with lilac-pink buds that open to large, fragrant, single blue flowers in upright panicles during the months of May and June. Light green, heart-shaped leaves stay attractive through the growing season and is perfect for mixed borders and foundation plantings.

Wedgewood Blue Lilac is deer resistant and thrives in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can tolerate light shade, but flowers best in full sun. It attracts butterflies and hummingbirds and other beneficial pollinators. When pruning, prune immediately after flowering to best avoid accidentally removing the buds for next year.
