Schizachyrium scoparium 'Ha Ha Tonka' PP32374 is commonly known as Ha Ha Tonka Little Bluestem. This North American native is so unique that you will think it glows! It features dense fine hairs on its leaves that grab the light to create a halo effect. Grassy blue green foliage, with red and orange on its stems, has an upright clumping habit and is slightly shorter than Blue Heavey® Little Bluestem. Fall brings a warm bronze yellow into view.
Ha Ha Tonka is easy to grow and maintain. It is deer resistant and drought tolerant. It enjoys full sun, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Perfect accent for small spaces and containers.
