Grower Notes:

The Swamp Chestnut Oak is native to swampy areas, rich sandy lowland woods and along streams. It is a medium to large oak with a tight, narrow, rounded crown. Leaves are similar to those of the chestnut oak.

Vibrant dark red fall color. Acorn fall September-October, but do not show an appearance until the tree reaches 20-25 years old. Gray bark has flaky ridges.
